NFR and World Championship Barrel Futurity

An exciting week to come with the WNFR and BFA's World Championship Futurity starting up. The first round of the WNFR will start on December 6th, with the 10th and final round on the 15th. The website www.prorodeo.com has a special area devoted to the NFR where you will find, results, video, contestant blogs, records, recaps, and even an entertainment guide for those that are heading down. There are lots of ads and maps for those of you going, so it might be worth downloading (don't forget to enter in the draw for the 2H trailer at Hooters!). Here is the direct link to to the National Finals page on the pro rode site CLICK HERE

Trevor Brazile has been quoted that he is looking for a triple crown of World Championships. He has one under his belt this year in the Steer Roping. I think the Canadian contingent headed down will put on a great show in all events for the Canadian fans.

Down in Oklahoma City, contestants are moving in for the World Championship Barrel Futurity, $100,000 slot race, Derby and divisional barrel race. The slot race will kick the competition off on December 4th at around 8pm. On Wednesday the 5th the futurity and derby will start. I expect there will be a live web cast of the event linked off "another site" but haven't found it yet. The link to the schedule and contestants can be found here at http://www.barrelfuturitiesofamerica.com/

I'm busy putting together the next newsletter, so if you haven't signed up yet, you'll want to head to the sign up page and do so. www.rodeoclassifieds.com/signup.html
