Rodeo Classifieds on the Road

Rodeo season is in full swing now. Many of us are hitting the road in pursuit of the next big win. If you happen to see my trailer or my name in the rodeo program(Michelle Davey) at a rodeo you are at, be sure to come by and introduce yourself. I know many of you only online and it would be great to meet you in person.

This past weekend Jet and I hit the road and visited CCA rodeos Warman, Unity and Kindersly. Although Kindersly had a lot of rain, we were lucky to run inside. Western Canada seems to be getting its fair share of rain lately. Hopefully the rains will be timely and keep the grass growing but the arenas dry!

Here are some pictures of the hail storm my travelling partner Rhonda and I ran into just outside of St. Rose, MB last night. We let the poor bikers in the one picture hop in while their family came from town to pick them up. In the other picture you can see the water laying in the fields on both sides of the highway.

Be sure to check out the classified ads, we have an incredible selection of horses, trailers and saddles online now. www.rodeoclassifieds.com

Barrel Racing Saddles Selling

Horses and trailers have been selling on a regular basis, but it seems like the barrel saddles are selling like hot cakes.

If you've been thinking of cleaning out your tack room, tack ads (including saddles) are only $25 WITH a picture ($15 without). An economical way to generate some cash and get you to the next barrel race or rodeo. Sell your old pads, bits and saddles that your not using.

Canadian Pro Barrels Racers get their own "domain"

Through the initiative of Canadian Pro Rodeo Association's Ladies Barrel Racing director Marci Powell, the pro barrel racers of Canada have a new home on the net.

CanadianProBarrelRacers.com will be the online home for Canadian Pro Barrel Racers to stay up to date on time sensitive pertinant information. Marci will be keeping up with a blog which is part of the site. She also developed an area of the site where members can see where they are rodeo reps and the past measurements of the pattern at the rodeo. This will also be useful for new members in determining the arena size. Past champions horse and human will also be highlihted on the new website.

Powell states that "The initiative behind the development of our new site, is to bring our Sponsors to the fore front. As the Ladies Barrel Racers we have so many that contribute to our success. We love them all! Thank you!"

Not only will Marci be keeping the girls up to date via her blog, she will also be writing monthly features on members and sponsors in the Canadian Rodeo News.
