Canada's Lindsay Sears is well on her way to her third NFR. Taking over $60,000 out of Rodeo Houston, Sears has already won over $90,000 in season earnings and it is still March! A new season earnings record is well in the works. It would be fair to say Linz Sears will be the favorite to win the world in 2008 should be stay on the road.
Even with a few stumble steps Linz and Martha take the win by a couple tenths! Watch it here:
(check out www.rodeoup.com for more great videos)
Several other Canadians came out of Houston with some money. Deb Renger and Cathy Grant both made money in the rounds. Dusty LaValley, Rod Hay and Curtis Cassidy all took some money home and also made it back to the $50,000 round giving a great effort. Dusty and Curtis were second in their events, so close to the big check.
You can watch highlights from all the events here
Unofficially, other $50,000 winners were: BB - Steven Dent, BR: B.J. Schumacher, SW, Wade Sumpter, SB:, Scott Keogh, TDR: Josh Peek, TR ($55,000/2) Chad Masters and Jade Corkhill

Have you ever wondered if your horse was Fugly?
You guys have got to check out this blog. It pretty much sums up the things many of us want to say. We are either too political, tactful or downright scared to say the the things this blogger does. It is hilarious and updated frequently.
Fugly Horse of The Day Blog
You'll want to make it one of your favorites and check back for a good laugh.
We've all seen those ads with fugly horses in them, this blogger tells us exactly what they think. You know $20,000 for that? Or...that horse is a stallion? It wouldn't even make a nice trail horse!
I have to thank Lisa for posting this on her website, I'm now a regular.
Until next time.....
